The Creature is a custom spirit playbook for blades in the dark, by John Harper. The creature is based primarily around Mary Shelly's Frankenstein and other 19th century works dealing with monstrous scientific creations and questions of human identity such as Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange case of Dr Jekyll  and Mr Hyde and H. G. Well's The Island of Doctor Moreau.

The creature has mechanics focusing on harm, humanity, and short term gains at long term costs.
